I'm a theatre practitioner.
I believe that at its core
theatre is the
study of people,
and is the best tool to encourage
empathy and understanding of others
while igniting change in ourselves.

This is why I teach.

This is me
I call myself a theatre practitioner because I've had the opportunity to work in a variety of roles in the theatre. I strongly believe that the best theatre teachers are ones that are actively working in their field, and while I work primarily as a theatre educator, I still stay active as a director, actor, and arts administrator.

Directing and Acting Projects
My work in theatre has taken me from rural Montana, to inner city schools, and about everywhere in between. My directing work has been praised as "heartwarming and unique" and "razor sharp," while my work on the stage has been called "demanding" and I'm said to "handle the stage like a major vaudevillian." Both areas of my work have been recognized by the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival. To learn more about past and current projects, visit the On the Stage page.
